We are an established firm based in Hexham, 25 minute’s drive from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, with a high reputation in the region and with a long-standing client base, without paying referral fees.

We are keen to recruit a Licensed Conveyancer or solicitor with 5+ years proven residential property experience to run a caseload of (approx. 70) conveyancing matters.

This is a fee earning role, undertaking all aspects of residential conveyancing to include leasehold, new- build, unregistered, shared ownership, right to buy and transfers.

The successful candidate will play an important role within the business, with a view to speedy progression to Partner for the right candidate and then with a view to heading up the business in a few years as the Senior Partner looks to semi retire.

• Excellent communicator able to build strong relationships with clients through great client service

• Commercial and financial aware, with the ability to take financial control of own client matters

• Team player able to oversee and assist other conveyancers

• Ability to meet challenging timescales and to prioritise, plan, manage own time

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skill

• Adopts a modern approach to conveyancing and is process driven, proactive and risk averse The package:

• Competitive salary of £60,000 plus depending on level of experience

• 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays and additional days off between Xmas and NY

• 35 hour week with 4pm finish on a Friday
